Cotton Tree Lodge lies on a 100-acre parcel of land along the Moho River approximately 15 miles West of Punta Gorda, Belize.

Cotton Tree Lodge is a jungle eco-resort situated on 100 acres along the banks of the Moho River in the foothills of the Maya Mountains in beautiful Belize. The riverfront 20 acres of land is developed for Cotton Tree Lodge and includes the 4000 square foot Main Lodge with the resort reception, restaurant, bar, gift shop, guest bathrooms, staff dining and office. Guest areas also include a riverside bar, floating dock and a gazebo. There are 11 fully-furnished guest Cabanas along the river and a Garden Vista House containing 5 guest rooms with the top floor used as a yoga/ retreat studio. There are various outbuildings and staff housing on the property. Walkways connect the main lodge to the river bar and dock, guest cabanas, garden vista house, managers home, organic garden and farm.

Explore the rainforest, rivers, reefs, and ruins and immerse yourself in local life. Tours take you chocolate making with a Mayan cacao farmer and his family, swimming through wet caves to an underground waterfall, and exploring ruins of the ancient Maya.

Activities available at the lodge include birding, kayaking, swimming, medicinal plant walks, yoga, massage or simply relaxing in a hammock and enjoying our incredible farm-to-table foods in a jungle paradise. Only eight miles from the Caribbean – close enough to enjoy snorkeling, diving, or fishing on an offered day trip.
