How to Add Listings Using Android

On January 27, 2017, we updated the Android app. These directions are not applicable to the new version. Please go to the Google Play store by clicking HERE and download the new version.

Instructions on how to use the new version can be found by clicking HERE.

The following is a step-by-step guide on how to add listings to the Android Beta version of QuantumListing. For iOS instructions, click HERE.

If you insist on using the legacy version, though, here are the directions, although we’re no longer supporting it.

Slide02Step 2: Add a title by tapping the word Title and entering a name for your listing

Step 3: Add the location by tapping on the globe and typing the address

Slide05Step 4: Tap the Asset Type box and choose from the drop down menu. Then tap Lease or Sale and make that selection. Then add the price or rent per square foot. Price/Rent information is optional.
Slide06Step 5: Tap on Upload Photo or PDF and select Camera to take a picture, Album to choose one that is already on your phone, or PDF to select a PDF. Adding a picture via the camera or album is pretty straightforward. See below on how to add a listing using a PDF.
Slide03Step 5a: Adding a PDF to QuantumListing
At present, the way to add PDFs is through Dropbox. We are working on being able to add them from email, websites, like you can with the iOS version.

With Android, you have to save the PDF to Dropbox (we have not figured out how to get Google Drive to play nice). Then, in the app, from the tab at the bottom that looks like a camera, choose, Camera if you want to take a picture of a property (or even of the PDF), Album to add from your device’s photo album, or PDF to add a listing PDF

Then, tap the + in the upper right corner, and you should see a menu with Open From at the top. Choose Dropbox, then find your file and tap it. Make sure you add a title at the top, tap on the globe to add an address, and choose the asset class from the drop down menu and For lease/sale. Info below the image is optional.

Step 6a: Tap each box to add listing details. These items are optoinal but help when others are searching

Step 6b: Add additional property details and comments. If yo don’t tap on Date Available, it will use today’s date.

Step 7: Hit the Submit button at the top right to upload your listing. You’ll get a message when the listing has been successfully submitted.

If you need to change any of the listing information, you can edit by going to Your Listings tab (the circle with the silhouette of one person with a gear to the top right) and tap on the listing image. Tap on the information you need to update, then scroll to the bottom and hit update. However, if you need to change the location, you’ll have to delete the listing by tapping on the three dots to the right of your name. If you have already tapped on the image and opened the property details page, you’ll need to tap on the left facing arrow at the top of the page to go back, then tap on the three dots.

The Android version is still in Beta. If you have any problems or suggestions, please contact [email protected]
