Bekah spent over a dozen years doing corporate real estate marketing for an investment firm. Then she worked on projects outside of that realm, from gaming to men's underwear development to restaurant concept work, and realized not only did her skills translate but her passion did too.
Born in Issaquah, Washington, married to Super Sean, and mother to three kids with the initials AIA, she is a junkie for new business endeavors and cooks, quilts, and teaches Sunday school.
I didn't mean to go into real estate. Or marketing. I ardently opposed all business courses in school, choosing instead a highly intellectual and academic track. It was not until life handed me a three-day temporary job at Next Realty that I discovered a fascination with commercial real estate. I approached the business with all the enthusiasm I’d placed toward liberal arts studies in college, passing my Illinois broker licensing exam in 2004, and working diligently to become the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Next Realty and embrace that role for the next dozen years. I earned my Managing Broker license in 2017.
I am 2018-2019 president of NICAR, the Northern Illinois Commercial Association of Realtors®, an organization for which I was named 2017 Realtor® of the Year.
