Welcome! These Tips and Tricks provide a comprehensive overview for the QuantumListing app for iOS. Whether you are a new user or have been using the app for a long time, there’s always something new you can learn!
GETTING STARTED
Download the QuantumListing App by clicking this link: QuantumListing for iOS
Click on the Register link on the landing page.
Once you have registered, you will be taken to the 1st tab at the bottom left hand side of the screen – the Public Listings tab. The tabs will be explained in detail later.
The QuantumListing App is very intuitive and you will be able to figure out how to use it just by using it. However, we want to make sure you learn about all of the features, so be sure to read on!
All registered users automatically get a 3 month trial Premium membership. You can upgrade at anytime to Premium Membership. You don’t have to wait until the trial is over!
The First Tab: Public Listings
The Public Listings tab is marked by a house icon, and when you tap on it, you will be able to look through the most recent listings uploaded by the Premium Members on QuantumListing.
Scroll through the listings by flicking up with your finger. When it appears you have reached the end, pull up on the last image and then release it to load more listings. The 100 most recent listings are available on the Public Listings tab. All other listings are available through the Search Tab.
At the top of each listing, you are given the option to either call, email, or go to the website of the member who posted the listing by touching the appropriate icons.
Also at the top of each listing is the avatar and name of the member who posted the public listing.
When you tap on the Member’s avatar (which will appear as a silhouette if they haven’t posted a picture yet), tou’ll go to their Profile Page. This is true throughout the app - anytime that you click the avatar, the profile page will appear.
From the Public Listings page, in the top right side of the listing card, you can touch the three dots. You can then open the PDF attachment if there is one.
To learn more about a listing, click the image, which will then take you to a page with more information on the listing. To view more details about the listing, scroll down.
Any time you are on the Public Listings tab, you can quickly go to the most recently added listing by tapping the Public Listings bar at the top of the screen.
To refresh the Public Listings page, pull down at the top listing on the screen and release.
The Second Tab: Search
The Search tab is marked by a magnifying glass icon. This is where you search for listings by address, city, or zip code.
At the top of the Search page is a magnifying glass in a search box. Tap on the magnifying glass to type in the address, town and state, or zip code that you would like to search. Once you have entered the location and tap search, give it a moment to locate the listings.
You can view the listing slide carousel by tapping the left or right arrows. Save the listing by clicking on the ribbon on the slide carousel. Go to the listing detail page by tapping on the image.
You can also tap on the QuantumListing icon on the map to see what the listing’s title is, and then click on the right facing arrow to go to the listing detail page.
The Third Tab: Add Listings
Adding listings can be done by clicking the camera icon.
**We do strongly recommend that you add listings via computer. If you don’t have access to a computer, you can email the listing to [email protected].
Here are the steps you should follow to add a listing:
Add the location by tapping the Map icon and then type in the address. [Enter Mock Address]
Once you have the address, click the left arrow at the top left of the screen, then add the Property title, select the asset type from the drop down list, then select if the property is for lease, sale, or both. Add the price. Add a photo or PDF (details below). Below the image, add Sq. Ft Available.
Below the Information section is your contact information. This is auto-populated from the profile page. If you don’t see this information here, update your profile by tapping the green “Submit” button on your Bio page. The phone and email information are required; the website is optional.
Adding a photo or PDF is the last requirement prior to submitting your listing. To do this, tap on the words “Upload Photo or PDF” at the bottom with asteriks.
A menu of two choices will pop up. If you choose you can take a picture or select one or more from your album.
If you choose PDF, you will be brought to the PDF Management page. Press the + button for the PDF that you want to upload for this listing. If you don't see any PDFs, you'll need to export it to QuantumListing before you can add it to the listing. This is a little complicated, but there is no simpler way to do this in iOS.
To export a listing from Dropbox on your phone to the QuantumListing, open up Dropbox. Select the PDF you want to export. Click on the three horizontal dots at the top of the page and then select Export. Select Open in... and then Copy to QuantumListing. Reopen QuantumListing, select the camera icon, select PDF, then select the + sign to add it to your listing.
To export a PDF from an email to QuantumListing, open the email, select the PDF you want to export and open it. At the bottom of the PDF, tap the square with the upfacing arrow. Then tap Copy to QuantumListing.
Users' phone set ups may be a little different, so contact [email protected] if you are having troubles adding a PDF.
Below the image are other listing details, such as sq. ft. available and optional listing details such as building size, rent PSF, etc. Highly recommended to input optional details because your listing will then be searchable by those criteria. You can also add a description to provide any additional details.
Then, hit the Submit button at the top right of the screen. A message will pop up to tell you your listing has successfully uploaded. Then, tap OK.
You can then upload another listing, or tap one of the other tabs.
To summarize, the title, contact information, location, asset type, whether it is for lease or for sale, and an image, are the required inputs before you can save the listing.
Because of changes we made to the website subsequent to publishing this version of the app, you will have to go to the website before your listings will be visible to the public. You’ll have to edit the listing, and check the boxes to acknowledge you have the rights to the image and to publish the listing.
The Fourth Tab: My Listings
My listings tab has an avatar icon with a gear to the top right where you can see all the listings you have added.
If you have a Premium Membership, you’ll also be able to access the listings that you have “favorited” in your Favorites and your Saved PDFs.
When in My Listings, you’ll see the listings you’ve added. At the top of each listing is a button with three dots.
When you touch the button with three dots, you will have two options. The first is to save the listing image to your phone’s album. The second option is delete, which you tap to delete the listing.
On the upper right hand side of the page, you’ll see a banner icon with a “+” on it. If you are a Premium Member of QuantumListing, you’ll be able to add other members’ listings to your favorites. Any public listing that you’ve added to your saved listings, you can see here.
On the upper left hand side of the My Listings page, you’ll see a piece of paper with a PDF icon on it. By tapping this, you can view or delete your PDFs.
To view a PDF, tap on its name. To delete a PDF file, swipe to the left and tap Delete. To delete all PDFs at once, tap the icon in the top right corner - it looks like a sheet of paper with an x on it.
From the My Listings page, you can also Share and Edit your listings.
If you tap on one of your listings, you will open its Listing detail page. A red Share button appears in the upper right hand corner of the listing image. Tap the share button, and you’ll see options to share the listing in a text, email, Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other social media.
From a Listing page, you may also edit your listing title and details. Tap the Edit option at the top right corner of the listing detail page to edit your listing title. Tap the information boxes to edit your listing details. When you are finished editing, scroll to the top right of the Listing page and tap Done to save your changes.
You can also tap the gray options circle to see the images in your gallery, or if you've added them, a PDF or video.
You can also save a listing to favorites (yes, people do favorite their own listings, especially those who have lots of listings)
The Fifth Tab: Profile
The icon with an avatar of three people is your profile section where you can manage your account.
Tap on the icon that looks like a piece of paper and pencil at the top of the page to edit your password, as well as your contact information and add a profile picture.
To add the profile picture, go to the smiley face at the top of the page and tap on the camera. When you are finished, click Done in the upper right corner of the page.
Below your contact information, you'll see the number of people that you are following and are following you.Tap on the numbers to see who your Followers and Following. You can then tap on the name of those followed/following to see their listings and contact information. You can view this on other people’s profiles as well so you can check out who people in your market are following. This is a great way to find more people in your market to follow.
Your posted listings are below your contact information; you can click on the listing card and go to the listing detail page.
When on the Profile tab, you'll notice a gear at the top of the screen on the right hand side. Tap on that and you will be presented with several options.
The first option is How It Works, which will take you to helpful hints on how to get the most out of QuantumListing.
The second option, Invite Friends to Download QuantumListing, opens up an email with a link to the iOS and Android App stores, as well as the QuantumListing.com website; you can then send the link to a friend so they can download QuantumListing, too.
The third option is Upgrade to Premium Membership, which allows you to access all of QuantumListing’s features after your 3 month trial is done.
