QuantumListing is a site where commercial real estate brokers, agents and owners can post and market their listings, but there is a lot more to it than that. While we are thrilled when you add your listings to our site, we are even happier when you archive them after being sold or leased. Not only do we want to be a part of your marketing process, we also want to help facilitate the deal-making process.
When we say “Search for free, post for less, share everywhere,” we mean everywhere, and we keep expanding the definition of everywhere. This exposure starts with our site, social media pages, groups, networks, and excellent exposure on Google searches (plus our display network ad system), and email blasts.
That's why we introduced our Haves and Wants 2.0 online marketing sessions. Like Haves and Wants meetings you may have attended in the past, these sessions are formatted for networking and dealmaking. Attendees share what they are searching for and what they have to offer with the group.
Past sessions focused primarily on a particular asset type and were run nationwide. For example, we held nationwide Multifamily for Sale - Haves and Wants 2.0 marketing sessions as well as for several other asset classes. These sessions were successful, but we wanted to make them even better.
After attending the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Massachusetts in-person Haves and Wants meeting in early March, we talked with their leadership about running these sessions online in order to increase attendance and participation. Though people may want to get together and socialize, many do not have the time in their work day to travel across the state to a multi-hour meeting on a regular basis. Participants find them valuable because they close deals as a result of them.
Soon after this March meeting, the COVID-19 pandemic with its ensuing restrictions hit and what was only an idea became something that seemed more necessary than ever.
This past week, we held our first Massachusetts Haves and Wants session online co-hosted with the Realtors Commercial Alliance of Massachusetts. We had about 20 people sign up and 80% of those people participated live during the session. In fact, due to the response and positive feedback, we already have plans to continue these sessions in Massachusetts on a monthly basis.
Since people are not getting together in large gatherings, many commented on how nice it was to see people and reconnect with familiar faces. Others remarked how great it is to be able to get deals and necessary networking done without having to sit through a multi-hour meeting plus traffic.
We had solid representation from real estate professionals, including brokers representing landlords and tenants as well as buyers and sellers. Additionally, we had participation from investor principals and their agents who submitted our “Wants” form, expressing what they are looking for.
Most importantly, several connections were made on a variety of properties throughout the state. While some had direct interest, others knew a potential buyer. These conversations did not stop when the meeting ended, and have since continued.
The session ended a few days ago and already seems to have sparked momentum in several deals. Having the chat feature in addition to the live web meeting also helped ignite a significant amount of communication among parties who may work together in the future.
We look forward to these sessions continuing to grow, both in Massachusetts and throughout the nation. If you are interested in setting one up in your market, please let us know.
