QuantumListing Do’s and Don’ts

There are lots of ways that QuantumListing can improve your commercial real estate practice and we want to make sure that you know how to utilize our site to your best advantage so you can get the exposure and leads your listings deserve!

Below is a list of several different facets of our site. In each section, we describe to you what the best practices are and also key tips so that you can avoid some common mistakes that people make when they are trying to get as many leads as possible.

1 Signing Up:

Do:

-Register for your appropriate Membership Type and then start adding listings if you have them. If you are planning to add listings, register as an Individual or Enterprise user. If you do not have listings, you can sign up as a Basic member which is free but allows you to utilize all of our search features as well as many social features.

-Schedule a Demo with our team in order to learn more about our product and how to make the most of your experience.

-Call or Email our support team if you need assistance or have any questions.

-Look out for our onboarding emails including QuantumListing Academy, which includes many tips for new users navigating our site.

Don’t:

-Create an account and then never sign back in. Once you sign up, you have taken the first step but you want to use our site to its fullest potential, don’t stop there!

-Sign up as a Basic user if you want to save listings, and post your commercial real estate Wants. If you also want to post listings for properties you represent or own, you’ll want an Individual or Enterprise membership. The latter lets you add admins and agents.. If you start as a Basic member, it is easy to upgrade your membership yourself or ask our team and we will advise you on membership options.

-When you start a subscription, your first 30 days are free, and you can add unlimited listings. This will allow you to start giving your listings the exposure they deserve!

2. Making Your Profile:

Do:

-Add as much content as possible including contact information, website, bio, social media links, profile photo and logo. You can add your state real estate license number too.

Don’t:

-Leave out relevant and important information that can not only help your future clients learn about you and your business, but that will also hinder your ability to build a presence on search engines. The more content that you add to your profile, the more that Google and other search engines will index your profile, thus gaining more views and as a result more leads on your listings!

3. Adding Listings:

Do:

-Add a detailed title that keeps in mind your prospects and what they would be typing into a search engine

-Use high quality images that capture the space and draw visitors in

Don’t:

-Skip adding an image because you are going to add it in later. Your listing gets a lot of traction when it initially gets added because it goes to the top of listings on our site and also gets featured in all of our social media

4. Marketing Your Listing

Do:

-Take advantage of our On Demand Marketing Center including Listing Promotion, Brand Promotion, Online Advertisement, Network Email Blasts, and more.

-Share your listing to social media so that your entire network sees what you have to offer.

-Post in your State Haves and Wants group notifying other members in your market about your new listing.

-Utilize email marketing features on QuantumListing including sending your listing to your own proprietary list.

Don’t:

-Add a listing once and then never log back into your profile to check leads, explore the marketing center, or share the listing via social media or email.

5. Looking for Listings:

Do:

-Click the Contact the Agent button to notify the broker or owner that you are interested in their property and you would like them to reach out to you so that you can get more information.

-If you have registered for an account, save the listing if you would like to come back to it later after you finish searching.

-Create a listing report that you can send to the client you represent so they can see a list of properties with all of the relevant details

-Make a note on the listing that includes any important information so that you can come back to it later (notes can be accessed from the Profile Page!)

-Filter your search by specific criteria so that you can narrow down exactly what you are looking for.

-Fill out a property request search form submitting the type of criteria that you are looking for so that you are notified when your ideal listing comes on the market.

Don’t:

-Search for a listing in one small city and then exit the page when you don’t see your ideal listing. Instead, you can expand the search radius to see listings in your area that go beyond that zip code!

-Request information from the agent and then do nothing more. All listings include the contact information including phone number and email addresses in most cases, so you can always reach out to them first!

We hope you have found these tips helpful. Remember, there are lots of ways to learn more about all that QuantumListing has to offer, including our weekly blog posts, How It Works articles, webinars, demonstrations or simply email us at [email protected] with any questions.
