Yesterday, we started a 24 hour poll on Twitter, asking the question "Is the term 'disruption' overused or misused in relation to commercial real estate?" The results are in and 57% of the respond...

Yesterday, we started a 24 hour poll on Twitter, asking the question "Is the term 'disruption' overused or misused in relation to commercial real estate?" The results are in and 57% of the respondents said yes, 43% voted no, out of a total of 53 voters.
During the course of the day, the votes were pretty close, more in the 52%-48% range, but as the evening wore on, the yes votes pulled ahead by a greater margin. Of course, this is a fairly small sample, and the Twitter format does not really allow for a lot of finesse in the formulation of the question or the potential answers. It does have the benefit of rapid results for those of us that love immediate gratification.
I'll be writing another post soon on what prompted me to ask the question in the first place, and what some of my thoughts on the subject are.
